Crystal and Meier's Modern Classic Wedding Day | The Loft at Howe Farms | Chattanooga, TN

Crystal's vision for her's and Meier's wedding day was modern classic. She wished to create an elevated, luxurious atmosphere for their special day. The ceremony space was stunning - featuring a rustic stone aisle that opened up providing an old world feel to the space. Crystal looked dazzling in her lacy dress embellished with elegant beading down the show-stopping cathedral train. Meier and his groomsmen wore black suits. Their black and white color scheme was accented seamlessly with the mossy green bridesmaids dresses, the grounds, and their florals.

Crystal and Meier's love story began before it began. Crystal and Meier went to high school together in Florida and shared the same friend group, they were more than acquaintances, but never more than friends at that point in their lives. After graduation they fell out of touch as they both pursued degrees, but then one fateful day their paths crossed again. One thing led to another and about a year later they decided to move to Chattanooga together. This was when they both realized how serious their relationship was. Meier popped the question at The Hunter Museum overlook, and arranged for friends to be there with champagne! It always makes my hear happy when over a decade of history with one another comes together to form a beautiful union and an amazing wedding day!

Crystal and Meier shared a first look before the ceremony allowing them to spend more time together on their wedding day and enjoy part of their cocktail hour! Their venue was the perfect compliment to Crystal's vision for a modern classic backdrop. The Loft at Five Gables, a Howe Farms venue, features a stunning lightly wooded ceremony site and an industrial reception space with a beautiful staircase and exposed brick walls. Crystal fell in love with the venue for its patio featuring stone arches. Overall, the thoughtful design and amenities enhance the wedding day experience for brides and grooms, their families, up to 200 guests and vendors alike. As a photographer, I was relieved by the number of covered outdoor areas there were to work with as there were scattered showers throughout the day.

The rain stopped just as guests began arriving for the ceremony allowing Crystal's outdoor vision to be fulfilled. Crystal's favorite moment of the day was when they shared their personal vows with one another. The ceremony was short and sweet but beautifully encapsulated Crystal and Meier's love and commitment to one another.

Before we got the newlyweds to happy hour we took some family photos and wrapped up with the full wedding party, now that the skies had cleared. It was a priority to Crystal and Meier that they get to mingle with their guests on the patio during happy hour. Upon arriving they were met with joyous greetings from their friends and family as enchanting melodies of live violin and cello music filled the air.

The reception kicked off with a grand entrance, with the newlyweds making their premier from the balcony. Then dinner was served by Alshabibi, who also handled their bar, cake, decor and floral arrangements - all of which were outstanding. The four tiered wedding cake was decorated with white roses and was iced so perfectly smoothly it almost didn't seem real.

The Maid of Honor and Best Man gave tear-jerking speeches balanced with jokes and just a little bit of dirt that only those closest to you could know well enough to share.

Next their guests were in for a treat as Crystal and Meier hired an outstanding belly dancer and Lebanese drummer to preform before opening the dance floor.

Afterwards Golden Gate Entertainment took over and kept the dance floor packed and the party fun while everybody who came out to celebrate Crystal and Meier's commitment danced the night away.
