Gesture, gaze and emotion are the driving force behind Twenty-Three. The cinematic quality achieved through lighting, framing and stature in an important element to capturing the mystery of my subjects; many of whom I believe could be viewed as the culprit or the victim in the psychological web I have woven. The spaces these people exist within function as timeless abodes that encapsulate the subject and separate them from the natural world.
