Pendulum Still depicts struggles and triumphs within the human condition; specifically dependency, consequence, destruction and renewal. I desired to build an environment where these things could resonate, where objects hold a weight that is greater than their physical mass and spaces transcend the tangible, yet speak to the way that we interpret time and space.

By creating a push-pull between the vast and the specific I hope the viewer will make general and personal associations pertaining to how we function in the world. Exploring the aspect of mortality that lies not only within our flesh, but in the sands and the dirt of the earth has allowed me to create a fragile energy resonating within the consequences of time.
